Gotta love diesel (What else did you think I was talking about? sickos) Just drove 325 miles round trip and spent less money to fillup up the car than I did filling up the 6 wheeler and 10 hp tin boat I used today.

Kinja'd!!!

46 mpg to be exact. Not bad considering it was over 2 9000 foot plus peaks, we averaged between 70-80 mph, the car was loaded and the AC was on. Im not even to half a tank yet. Bonus, it looks like Mt. Dew...apparently.

It makes good clunky noises rather than bad ones.

In school a few years back I got to operate a D6H with an open canopy and a similar engine to that. That was awesome. Hearing that big turbo spool up and the metal tracks clanking along was awesome. Much cooler than a supercar in my books.

Apr tune will get more torque and more MPGs!

Have you considered going on Ross Tech and buying a VAGCOM cable? You can program all kinds of things with it on the body modules

All these things appeal to me in a big way...but they don’t appeal to my wife who’s car it is.

This happens with diesel. Well, except if you have a GMT800 pickup with a short bed and crew cab.

Damn 26 Gallon tank. How the hell did GM ever think that was a good idea?

I guess I will have to save up for the 52 gallon Titan tank. Fits in the stock location, means less filling up.

I know that feel. I’ve got a 25.4 gallon tank and get 13 mpg....in a vehicle that is designed to go far away from gas stations. nutty.

A 52 gallon Titan tank would be excellent, if they weren’t $1400...

Allegedly it doesn’t affect the ground clearance. Not that it’s fun to off-road a small house... :)

Yeah, I’ve looked at extended range tank systems and they are all $1000+. Yeah, nuts to that, I’ll get carry cans.

I have a 2013 and I’m not sure but does the “new” motor use DEF to offset the power bump when it comes to emissions?
